The cast of “[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Glee[/lastfm]” was supposed to shoot a musical performance for their post-Super Bowl episode last Friday but production was SHUT DOWN…
It seems there’s a TONSILLITIS EPIDEMIC on the set! It’s unclear who and how many people are sick but Dianna Agron (who plays Quinn the cheerleader) is one of them. She posted a Twitter message saying, “Note to self: Should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.” (“Entertainment Weekly” says it was tonsillitis. It’s unclear if there are multiple sicknesses going around…or if it’s a flu bug. Whatever. People are ailing and production was stopped.) Filming is set to resume today, although the musical performance that was going to be shot Friday had been rescheduled for next month.
In other Glee news…It’s official, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as substitute teacher “Holly Holiday” in an upcoming episode. No word on when filming will take place or an airdate but I’ll keep you posted.
Chris Rock helped calm a woman down after she went into labor at a New Jersey shopping mall over the weekend. He was at Neiman Marcus in the Garden State Plaza when a woman standing next to him went into labor. The comedian sprang into action and did what he does best…made her laugh about the situation. A witness says, ” He was making the crowd, and the woman in labor laugh. She recognized who he was immediately, and he stayed there until the paramedics took her away.” No one followed up on the woman but I assume everything came out okay and she has a great story to tell friends and family.

Finally, Debbie Harry claims she was almost murdered by serial killer Ted Bundy. Debbie says back in the early ’70’s she accepted a lift from a man and when she got in his car she noticed something suspicious: His car door didn’t have a handle on the inside. She says, ” The hairs on the back of my neck just stood up. I pulled the door handle from the outside. He tried to stop me by spinning the car, but it helped me fling myself out. Afterwards I saw him on the news. Ted Bundy.” Debbie’s been talking about this off and on for the past 20-years but Snopes.com claims to have mythbusted this, saying among other things, Bundy was never in New York City.
