Well, not exactly. But Robert Pattinson will apear at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 3.
He won’t be following in the footsteps of actress turned singer Gwyneth Paltrow, but Pattinson has been confirmed as a presenter at the awards show with his ”Water For Elephants” co-star Reese Witherspoon.
Pattinson is used to appearing in the spotlight with “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart, but this will be a first for him and Witherspoon.
“It felt like it was kind of magical in many ways, because we were out in the desert shooting,” he said of the shoot for “Water For Elephants” with Witherspoon. “There was nothing from the modern world around. It was a different experience for me. It wasn’t in a studio or anything.”
Witherspoon might be able to give “Edward” some tips for appearing in front of a country audience. You might remember her Academy award win for the portrayal of [lastfm link_type=””]June Carter Cash[/lastfm] in the [lastfm link_type=””]Johnny Cash [/lastfm]biopic “Walk The Line.”
