14 Million People Watched the “Bachelor” Finale

The overhyped “Bachelor” season finale came in third in the ratings.  It attracted about 14 million viewers, coming in just behind the “After the Final Rose” special.

As usual, the two “American Idol” broadcasts were last week’s top shows, with 22.6 million people tuning in on Wednesday and 19.6 million on Thursday.  Here are last week’s Top 20 shows . . .

1.)  Wednesday’s “American Idol”,  Fox,  22.6 million viewers

2.)  Thursday’s “American Idol” results show,  Fox,  19.6 million viewers

3.)  The “Bachelor: After the Final Rose” special,  ABC,  14 million viewers

4.)  The 15th season finale of “The Bachelor”,  ABC,  13.9 million viewers

5.)  “Criminal Minds”,  CBS,  13.7 million viewers 

6.)  “NCIS”,  CBS,  12.7 million viewers

7.)  “NCIS: Los Angeles”,  CBS,  12.5 million viewers

8.)  “60 Minutes”,  CBS,  11.9 million viewers

9.)  “Undercover Boss”,  CBS,  11.7 million viewers

10.)  “Bones”,  Fox,  11.6 million viewers

11.)  The gay kiss episode of “Glee”,  Fox,  11.1 million viewers.  This is the one that bothered former “SNL” comedienne Victoria Jackson, because she thought they were mocking Christians and “shoving the gay thing down our throats.”

12.)  “CSI: Miami”,  CBS,  10.9 million viewers 

13.)  “Survivor: Redemption Island”,  CBS,  10.7 million viewers

14.)  “House”,  Fox,  10.4 million viewers

15.)  “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior”,  CBS,  10.33 million viewers

16.)  “Secret Millionaire”,  ABC,  10.3 million viewers

17.)  “Harry’s Law”,  NBC,  10.2 million viewers

18.)  “The Amazing Race”,  CBS,  10.1 million viewers

19.)  “Two and a Half Men”,  CBS,  9.9 million viewers

20.)  “Mike & Molly”,  CBS,  8.4 million viewers
