First off, the “judge” is ok. But it did get funky for a bit this morning with her honor.
Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the legal show “Judge Judy,” was taken from a Hollywood studio Wednesday morning to a local hospital after becoming ill.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said a woman was taken from 5800 Sunset Blvd. Wednesday morning in serious condition. That is the address of the Sunset Bronson studios, where “Judy Judy” is shot.
The Fire Department did not provide the name of the patient. But her spokesman, Gary Rosen, confirmed to Radar Online that Sheindlin was feeling ill and decided to be checked out by a doctor.
TMZ reports late this afternoon that Judge Judy checked in Harvey Levin (of TMZ) and said “”I’m just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill.”
“I was feeling funky this morning … funky enough that I knew someone should give a gander over what I got.”
Judge Judy is at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.., where she just had an MRI. Doctors are doing a few more tests and she says she’ll be out tomorrow.
She added, “I’m gonna go home tomorrow. It was a bad idea to fly home tonight.”
The people rest. Maybe the judge should.
