If you haven’t noticed yet, I LOVE GOOD FOOD. Good food on a stick? And cheap? YES PLEASE!
“Stick It” is one of the 34 Food Trucks participating in Haute Wheels Houston, a festival of food — served on wheels — at HCC West Campus May 12-13th.
The thing I love about Food Trucks is that most come with incredible culinary minds behind the wheel. Before driving “Stick It” through Houston, Ruth Lipsky worked as an executive chef in Chicago for three years and her culinary degree shows with a TASTY menu — served up on a stick!
I ordered the Texas Beer-battered Fish — made with Swai, basically a Vietnamese catfish — served with well-seasoned fries. And I HAD to try the Crunchy Pork Belly Pop as a side.
So, maybe not the healthiest lunch. But wow was it yummy.
