Carrie Fisher was born into what she calls the Royal Family of America: Hollywood.
The daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher, she’s most well-known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars trilogy. But over the past 30 years, Fisher has become equally famous for her struggles with addiction and bipolar disorder.
She brings her autobiographical story Wishful Drinking to the stage in a one-woman Broadway show playing now at the Hobby Center in Houston.
We sat down to chat about the Star Wars outfits, real-life space exploration and more:
Tickets are still available here! Wishful Drinking is at the Hobby Center until Sunday May 20th!
