Everyone loves sporting their pink, so come out and be a part of the 8th Annual Tour de Pink 2012, the original bike ride in Texas to solely benefit breast cancer awareness and education!
The event will be held Sunday, September 16, at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. The bike ride begins at 7:00 a.m. and includes a variety of rambling tours ranging from 10 to 100 miles for cyclists of all levels throughout the beautiful southeast Texas countryside. It’s fun for the whole family!
Cyclists will be raising money for the Pink Ribbons Project, in motion against breast cancer. Raising more than $4.5 dollars in the last decade, Pink Ribbons Project’s mission is to use the arts to promote breast health, save lives and improve the quality of life for those touched by breast cancer.
In person: Friday, September 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bike Barn at 5339 Weslayan; or at PVAMU the morning of the ride from 6:00-8:00 a.m.
