Superstar Beyoncé has been making headlines recently for giving some unflattering “lip service” during her inaugural performance. The singer has come under fire for lip syncing the National Anthem during Obama’s inauguration but many are coming to her defense, including Jennifer Lopez.
During a recent appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart, Lopez spoke about her most difficult performance and came to the defense Beyoncé.
During his interview with Lopez, Stewart asked Lopez if lip syncing is acceptable as a performer. Lopez answered: …Sometimes it happens when you’re in certain stadiums and in certain venues they do prerecord things… because you’re going to have that terrible slap back…”
Lopez also added that all performers have to prerecord performances and lip sync them during live appearances.
Lopez, star of the new movie Parker also talked about what it’s like to travel during a world tour with her twins.
