Live Below the Line is an endeavor that’s “… challenging the way people in the US think about poverty – and making a huge difference.” The Live Below the Line website also states: “Live Below the Line is an innovative awareness and fundraising campaign that’s making a huge difference in the fight against extreme poverty. Quite simply, we’re building a movement of passionate people willing and able to make a meaningful difference to those who need it most.”
Live Below the Line is asking individuals and communities to see how well they thrive by living off of $1.50 per day for food and other necessities for five days. For participants, all necessities for five days must not exceed $1.50.
