Fans of ’90s soft-rock group Hootie & the Blowfish can begin their celebrations for a reunion. Not only is the band reportedly contemplating a reunion concert, but new music is supposedly coming down the pipe.
The Huffington Post is reporting that the band will more than likely play the tunes that made them famous: “… chances are the band will perform that very song, along with other sensations like “Hold My Hand” and “Let Her Cry,” as the possible tour would celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hootie’s 1994 album ‘Cracked Rear View’,” as stated in the Huffington Post.
Lead singer and current country crooner Darius Rucker, who just released his third solo country album this week, told media outlets that the commemorative tour would likely last about four weeks.
Hootie & the Blowfish joins a plethora of ’90s bands that are joining forces again to tour and touch their fan bases and perhaps even recruit additional and newer fans. Click here to learn more and sound off… would you go and see Hootie & the Blowfish if they reunited?
