Anna Kendrick got drunk on set while shooting her new movie “Drinking Buddies.” In a new interview she says, “It was very, very bizarre,” Director Joe Swanberg didn’t give his actors a script, only an outline of what should happen in the scenes. That technique let him get an honest performance out of his cast, and room to serve actual alcohol.

Anna said, ”During a scene at the bar, they gave me fake beer, but then during a scene where I’m playing cards with Jake Johnson, they gave me real beer, and I didn’t realize it! And so every time I lost, I was pounding beer, and I didn’t realize it was real until halfway through the take. I was like, I’m super drunk right now! And so as soon as the take was over, I had to announce to everybody that I was drunk at work.”

And onto another show on FOX “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller has come out of  the closet.

He went public after being invited to a film festival in Russia, when the 41-year-old actor wrote, “Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline. I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government.”

Russia’s new anti-LGBT law bans “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations around minors,” including the public discussion of gay rights and relationships anywhere children might hear it.

He’s had trouble with alcohol in the past, but “Partridge Family” star David Cassidy was arrested for driving while intoxicated early Wednesday morning in upstate New York. Police Officer Tom Jones was conducting a DWI check when he stopped Cassidy— and check this out — when the officer introduced himself, David said, “What’s up, pussycat?” referencing “What’s New Pussycat?,” a song by singer Tom Jones.

The 63-year-old had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .10 percent, the Times Union reported. The legal limit in New York is .08. Cassidy was arrested and charges with felony DWI due to a prior conviction. He was sent to the Rensselaer County Jail and released on $2,500 bail.

Fox and Glee creator Ryan Murphy have decided that a tribute episode was the best way to pay their respects to Cory Monteith, but Jane Lynch says it’s going to be a tough one to film. She told E! News, “It’s gonna be awful, it’s gonna be terrible. It has to be done but it’s gonna be awful.” The cast has been aided by a grief counselor on set, and will begin the episode soon. “We haven’t started yet and I think we start on Friday,” said Lynch. “I haven’t seen the script yet.”

The final “Twilight” hit theaters last fall, but star Robert Pattinson is still dealing with the die-hard fans.

He says, “The real odd thing about this ‘Twilight’ target group is that they aren’t really teenagers. Most of them are older. Twilight’ has its own parallel world, its own fan culture that has been forming on the net since day one. And in an intense way that has never existed before. Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with ‘Twilight.”

In a new preview from this Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the then pregnant Kim Kardashian talks about wanting to eat her placenta. OMG VOM.

They say you can eat them.” Although the chef says he hasn’t yet dished up the special meal, he admitted, “My wife did that,” and went on to discuss the diet’s wide-ranging health benefits. The topic makes for a rather lively disturbing dinner debate.
