Singer and balladeer Harry Connick Jr. will now assume duties as a judge!
Connick will not wear a robe and carry a gavel, but rather carry with him words of encouragement, support and constructive criticism to music singing hopefuls as he assumes judging duties on the FOX Network’s “American Idol.”
The “Idol” auditions continue this fall in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Omaha, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. Season 13 which is also known as “American Idol XIII”, will debut in January.
Connick is hails from New Orleans and is known for such hits as “It Had to Be You” and “A Wink And A Smile”.
