In the “land down under” there, at Chicago’s O’hare airport, an alligator was found!
According to CBS News, the “unexpected traveler” was found at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport over the weekend and no one knows how the foot-long alligator got there or where it came from.
“A maintenance worker discovered the alligator, which is about a foot long, on Friday in Terminal 3, Chicago Police spokesman Jose Estrada said Sunday,” stated the CBS News website on Monday. “An officer captured the reptile by putting a trash can over it.”
CBS News further reported that as soon as the alligator was discovered, it was soon brought to theChicago Herpetological Society to be observed and cared for.
The gator that was was reportedly in bad shape, will likely be sent to an out-of-state alligator farm once authorities are given the “all-clear” to release the animal. Click here to read more from CBS News.
