‘Lauren’s Lowdown’: New ‘American Horror Story” Is A Freakshow; ‘DWTS’ Elimination


Dancing With the Stars first elimination happened last night on the second episode of this season. Everyone was shocked to find out not one, but TWO couples were sent home in a surprise twist!

Swimmer Diana Nyad and Henry Byalikov were the first to go, and hockey player Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff were the second couple to be eliminated.


Great news for American Horror Story fans, he creator of the show Ryan Murphy announced via Twitter that season 4 will be named “Freak Show.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Freak Show will take place in 1950 in Jupiter, Florida and will feature Lange as a “German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S.

Her “freaks” will be played by returning stars Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy. EW reports that Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts are also in talks to return to the show. The fourth season will feature 13 episodes, but no release date has been set at this time.


Maria Menounos will no longer co-host Extra with Mario Lopez.

She has willingly decided to leave the show, and reports of her being fired are false, a source says. “She was not fired. She wasn’t ousted. No one is pushing her out.”

The source adds, “It was a mutual understanding” between Menounos and Extra to part ways. “She’s exploring a few options right now. There was absolutely no drama.”


Nick Cannon is releasing his first album in 11 years, called White People Party Music, but check this out… to promote it Nick chose to sport a “whiteface” in a controversial Instagram picture

The caption reads: “It’s official . . . I’m White!!! #WHITEPEOPLEPARTYMUSIC #Wppm in stores April 1st!!!!!!Dude Go Get It!!!Join The Party!!!! #GoodCredit #DogKissing #BeerPong #FarmersMarkets #FistPumping #CreamCheeseEating #RacialDraft ‘Bro I got drafted!!’”

Nick told US Weekly, “You go to a party and white people are having more fun than anybody. They know how to have a good time! I could have named the album Purple People Party Music and you’d still get the same album, but it was just one of those things. You know, you deal with things like race, and people get uptight, so why not?”
