‘The Bachelorette’ Recap

Nick V got the first date in Santa Barbara. He is sending mixed signals about Andi. Andi likes the date and gives Nick V a rose. The guys on the group date find out they’ll be singing with Boyz II Men. Neither the guys nor Andi can sing at all, and it’s pretty funny to watch them sing/butcher “I’ll Make Love To You” in front of a huge crowd. Josh gets the rose on the group date. Andi and J.J. get dressed up as elderly people to experience what it would be like to be older. Sadly, Ron had a close friend die and decides to leave the show. J.J. gets a rose on his one-on-one date. Nick V sends Andi flowers. The guys call out Andrew for getting a girl’s number. Andrew tries to defend himself, but still manages to get the last rose at the elimination ceremony. Ugh. Sent home: Bradley Wisk (opera singer), Brett Melnick (brought lamp for Andi on Night 1) and Ron Worrell. We get another episode tonight at 7p on ABC. Let the drama continue!

Have you seen the video of a 15 year-old Justin Bieber telling a racist joke? It’s quite disturbing…

Well now he is apologizing for saying it, blaming it partly on his age.

Justin told TMZ, “As a kid, I didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance.”

Justin ends with: “Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I’m grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man. Once again….I’m sorry.”
