Olympic Swimmer Ryan Lochte Shows Off His 10,000 Calorie Dinner

Sooooo let’s say ON AVERAGE, a normal person consumes anywhere from 2,000 – 2,000 calories PER DAY.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is CLEARLY not your average person!

In a new pic he posted to his twitter page, Ryan shows off what a 10,000 calorie dinner looks like…and it is A LOT OF FOOD!

According to The Daily Mail, an average male needs to consume on average 2,500 calories a day to maintain his weight, according to the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, a professional athlete who expends close to 7,000 calories during exercise, needs a lot more.

Ryan, a former junk food addict, may consume thousands of calories more than the average person, but he maintains ‘a commitment to eat healthier,’ he told MSN in 2012, adding that he now understands the importance of eating protein and carbs ‘at the right times’.

His ideal recovery meal, he told Men’s Health, consists of ‘two grilled chicken breasts with Alfredo sauce, whole-grain spaghetti, and a salad with lemon juice and olive oil.’
