This is very hard to decide without knowing the full story. We have all seen parents in public cursing in front of or at their kids. There are probably some things that go on at their house you know would raise the eybrows of CPS.
But there are also good parents who after dealing with difficult children all day lose their cool for a minute and let some bad language slip. It’s happened to ALL of us. What do you think about this story?
According to North Augusta law, disorderly conduct can occur if a person happens to “utter, while in a state of anger, in the presence of another, any bawdy, lewd or obscene words. The South Carolina state law’s definition of the misdemeanor includes “use obscene or profane language on any highway or at any public place or gathering or in hearing distance of any schoolhouse or church.”
So a witness said she saw the mother yelling at the kids and the mother said she was yelling at the husband. She said, she said.
