‘Lauren’s Lowdown’: ‘Friends’ Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Mama June/Sugar Bear Split

Lauren

Can y’all believe that today marks 20 years since the first episode of ‘Friends’ aired?? TWENTY YEARS!

What started out as a casual chat between Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe and Ross in the Central Perk coffee shop, turned into 20 years of sitcom history after they were hilariously interrupted by a runaway bride named Rachel.

Friends went on to last 10 seasons, racking up 62 Emmy nominations, as well as consistently ranking as one the most popular shows on television during its time on air.

For those growing up in the Nineties, Friends was EVERYTHING. The show gave us some of the funniest lines ever written, great laughs, lots of tears, and a haircut that will last the test of time. (oh come one, you know you still love “The Rachel)

Since the show ended in 2004, we can still catch re-runs on different networks syndicating the show, which makes it SO HARD to believe it’s been 10 years since it ended.

Check out some of the best moments of the show!

Honey Boo Boo‘s parents, Mama June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson are separating, just 16 months after their commitment ceremony.

June said in a statement to TMZ, “Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority,” Shannon continued. “We want to thank y’all for your support.”

Although they were never officially married, they exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony back in May. Thompson is Alana’s biological father, and stepdad to her older sisters Lauryn (a.k.a. Pumpkin), Jessica (Chubbs) and Anna (Chickadee).

Melissa Rivers announced that E!’s “Fashion Police” will continue without her mom Joan after taking a short break.  Also, a post appeared on Joan’s Facebook page that made it appear she was endorsing the iPhone 6 from beyond the grave.  It was probably a pre-arranged deal with Apple that somebody forgot to cancel.

Oops, lol.
