Here’s Why Ed Sheeran Doesn’t Think He Could Do a James Bond Theme Song

Ed Sheeran‘s résumé will not be including a James Bond theme song anytime soon—if ever.

The English singer has removed himself from the list of possible contenders, which has been rumored to include Lana Del Rey and Sam Smith.

It’s not that he’s not a fan of the film’s soundtrack legacy—”I’d love to do a James Bond song,” he said speaking at the BBC Music Awards in London yesterday, according to NME. “But can you imagine it? I just wasn’t born with the James Bond voice.”
