Dallas High School Goes Viral With “Uptown Funk” Video

A theater teacher and his students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas did their best Bruno Mars/Mark Ronson impressions in their new “Uptown Funk” video!

Teacher Scot Pankey told the Dallas Morning News, “We are a project-based school and that means you give the students a project, put them in teams, and they have to come up with solutions. They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned.”

According to KFOR TV, the whole thing was shot in one take. Also, it was filmed and edited by students.

Pankey told Cosmo, “We had a great time. I am overwhelmed by the response. I am honored. It’s all been very positive.”
