Justin Bieber posted a pretty emotional video on his Facebook page yesterday where he opened up about his past “arrogant” behavior and apologized to the world for pretending to be someone he wasn’t. Hmmmm….
The video went up right after his surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he said he felt “really nervous” of how he would be received at his first TV appearance after his recent “bad-boy” news-worthy run ins with the law.
“I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now,” he explained in the video. “It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year, year and a half.”
“I’m not what I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there was a lot of feelings going on in there,” he continued. “Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard,” he added.
Bieber’s other recent troubles include a DUI arrest stemming from a drag-racing incident in Miami, vandalism charges for egging a California neighbor’s home, and assault charges following an alleged attack on a limo driver.
