If you get easily annoyed watching ONE girl go through “the most dramatic rose ceremony EVER,” then you may wanna hold off on watching the new season of ‘The Bachelorette‘ because there’s going to be TWO of them!
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson (who were both contestants on this past season of ‘The Bachelor’ with Chris Soules) are both set to hand out the roses come May.
Kaitlyn a dance instructor from Canada, and Britt a waitress from California, will both compete for the guys’ attention on the first night, then THE GUYS will choose which girl they want to stay for the rest of the season. This twist has been done once before: back in 2004 The Bachelor began with the women voting for either Byron Velvick or Jay Overbye, with Velvick winning and eventually getting engaged to Mary Delgado.
According to a source at US Weekly, producers chose both Bristowe and Nilsson “because they were so well-liked, they didn’t want to pick just one. They’re not necessarily thrilled about this, but they’re also not horrified or upset. Clearly they both wanted to be the next Bachelorette, so they’re happy with sharing the role rather than not having it at all.”
Who would YOU rather watch as the new ‘Bachelorette?” Kaitlyn or Britt??
