I think one of my favorite parts of “Once” the musical is that it’s two main characters’ names are “Guy” and “Girl“… (back to the basics! lol)
The show is in town at The Hobby Center now through Sunday starring Stuart Ward, Dani de Waal and lots more. Click HERE to purchase tickets and get more info.
Here’s a brief synopsis of the show according to it’s website:
“Winner of 8 2012 Tony Awards® including BEST MUSICAL, ONCE is a truly original Broadway experience. Featuring an impressive ensemble of actor/musicians who play their own instruments onstage, ONCE tells the enchanting tale of a Dublin street musician who’s about to give up on his dream when a beautiful young woman takes a sudden interest in his haunting love songs. As the chemistry between them grows, his music soars to powerful new heights…but their unlikely connection turns out to be deeper and more complex than your everyday romance. It’s an unforgettable story about going for your dreams and the power of music to connect us all.”
Tug at your heartstrings much?
Not to mention Stuart Ward (who plays the lead role of “Guy”) is super cute and charming in real life, and was nice enough to stop by the MIX studios to talk with Chad and Lauren about the show, how he perfected that Irish accent, and also how he needs to work on his Texas accent! Check out the funny interview below and be sure to catch “Once” the musical while it’s in town!
