‘Ghostbusters’ Director Reveals New Proton Packs, Uniforms

By Courtney E. Smith

Curious about how the female Ghostbusters reboot will look? Director Paul Feig has been offering a glimpse into the film via Twitter.

Yesterday (June 29) evening he sent out a photo of the new costumes and this morning he followed it with a look at the proton packs (the things they shoot the ghosts with).

Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristin Wiig and Leslie Jones are set to star in the film, out in 2016 and shooting this summer.

Feig explained to EW why he felt that Ghostbusters had to be a total franchise reboot, saying, “I love origin stories. I want to see them come up with the tech. I want to see them seeing a ghost for the first time, as opposed to ‘Oh yeah, all those years ago there was a ghost attack on New York.'”
