Did Lauren Score A Date With Ben Zorn From “The Bachelorette”?

Lauren Kelly

You know when you’ve been single for a REALLY long time, (and I mean a REEEEAAALLLLY LONG TIME) you kind of just start throwing caution to the wind when it comes to getting dates?

Here’s an example: If you ask someone out and they say no, it doesn’t really come as all that big of a surprise, nor does it hurt your feelings anymore. (*cue Jay Z’s “Onto The Next One”…) But with this carelessness you also just start asking people you wouldn’t normally ask out. Like contestants from “The Bachelorette.” I may have done that. And yes, I’m being totally serious.

Have y’all been watching this season of “The Bachelorette” with Kaitlyn Bristowe? If so, can we all agree that she had some FOOOIINNNNEE gentlemen for her choosing, and I feel ya girl…I don’t know how I’d choose just ONE out of all those hotties. Well, ok I guess I was able to do that…have y’all seen BEN ZORN? Holy omgARMS. It’s not just about his looks either…he seems like SUCH a nice guy. Genuinely, a great guy.

So I did what anyone in my single situation would do…I called out some Houston friends of mine that I thought may be able to help me score a date with Ben. I’m sure you guys remember Kalon McMahon from Emily Maynard’s season, Ashlee Frazier from Sean Lowe’s season, and Michael Garofola from Desiree’s season. I actually tweeted them all and got a few favorites, but got only one pretty epic response from Michael…

Ok so maybe Ben is a little younger than me but so what?? THANKS FOR THE REMINDER THAT I’M OLD MICHAEL. lol 😉
