Lauren’s Lowdown: ‘Bachelorette’s’ Final Rose; Tom Cruise/Jimmy Fallon Lip Sync Battle

Lauren Kelly

Last night Tom Cruise was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon promoting his new movie “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” (which hits theaters this Friday) and they had one of the  FUNNIEST lip-sync battles I’ve ever seen!

Watch the video above to see the guys do songs from The Rolling Stones, The Weeknd, Meatloaf, The Righteous Brothers and more!

Last night was the finale of ‘The Bachelorette‘ for Kaitlyn Bristowe and her final two men: Shawn Booth and Nick Viall, and she DID get engaged…

…to SHAWN!

If you haven’t been keeping up this season, then I’ll quickly fill you in. You may remember Nick V. from Andi Dorfman‘s season when he notoriously admitted to everyone that him and Andi, ahem, “did it“…in the fantasy suite during the “Men Tell All” after dumping him for Josh Murray. Well, Nick came back this season to profess his love for Kaitlyn and THE SAME THING HAPPENED! Poor guy got dumped again after Kaitlyn gave her final rose to Shawn.

Now look, even if you weren’t Team Nick, you had to feel bad for the guy especially after hearing him say “I am  the world’s biggest joke.” Ohmygoodness, HEART = BROKEN.

Nick, I’m single and I think you’re hot. Gimme a call sometime. 😉

Ed Sheeran is headed to our televisions…he’s joining FX’s upcoming drama series The Bastard Executioner.

Apparently the show is coming from Kurt Sutter, who’s the creator of “Sons Of Anarchy,” and will be a gory medieval drama with Ed having a recurring role. It follows a 14th century knight (True Blood star Stephen Moyer-YES!) who becomes an executioner. Sheeran will play wil play Sir Cormac, an “ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder.

Bastard Executioner is expected this fall.

The sadness for Bobby Kristina Brown‘s family grows as they continue to mourn her loss…

And now her dad, Bobby Brown, has broken his silence and released a statement:

Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”

He adds, “We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
