Lauren’s Lowdown: Morgan Freeman’s Granddaughter Murdered; Jessica Alba Gets Carded

Lauren Kelly

Morgan Freeman‘s 33-year-old granddaughter was fatally stabbed yesterday morning in New York City.  E’Dena Hines was found lying in the street outside her home, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

According to the “New York Daily News”, a 30-year-old was arrested for the murder and it turned out to be HER BOYFRIEND.

This is where the story takes a seriously bizarre turn…reports are saying the killer was screaming things that sounded like an EXORCISM attempt.

One of the witnesses heard, quote, “Get out devils!  I cast you out Devils in the name of Jesus Christ!  I cast you out!”

And here is a pic of the two of them together…

If you’re a fan of 80’s cowboy movies, then I’m sure you know that one of the best of those was “Urban Cowboy,” filmed right here in Houston. It starred John Travolta and Debra Winger, and most of it took place at Gilley’s country bar in Pasadena.

According to FOX CEO Dana Walden, she said the movie is getting a tv series reboot that will begin filming in September…in AUSTIN.

What?! How did Houston lose out on that one?!

The new TV series [inspired by the film] will debut next year, with Mexican actor Alfonso Herrera as the lead male role of Kyle, who is essentially Bud (played by Travolta) in the 1980 film. The rest of the cast will be all new.

Anyone over the age of 25(?) these days knows that getting carded when you try to buy alcohol is an actual COMPLIMENT. Jessica Alba recently went to dinner with her husband and some friends, and she was the only one who had to show her I.D. Jessica is 34, btw.

A source said, “She totally loved it! She loves being told how young she looks!

Come onnnnnnn, like the waiter didn’t know who she was, lol. 😉
