Lauren’s Lowdown: Josh Duggar Enters Rehab; Amy Schumer & Jennifer Lawrence’s New Movie

Lauren Kelly

Josh Duggar has entered some kind of rehab.  His parents said, quote, “It will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery.”  They added that Josh, quote, “deeply hurt his precious wife and children and negatively affected so many others.  He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.”

As of now, we don’t know what KIND of rehab it is, or what he’ll be working on.  As far as we know, his issues have nothing to do with substance abuse.

His parents said, quote, “Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center.  For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery.  We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.”

New besties Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are writing a movie script together for a comedy where they play sisters.

Best. News. EVER!

Jennifer says, “It’s been the most fun experience of my life. I emailed her after I saw ‘Trainwreck’ and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started.  I guess I should just say it:  I’m in love with you.’

Jennifer also told the “New York Times”, “Amy and I were creatively made for each other.  We have different flavors.  It’s been the most fun experience of my life.  We start the day off on the phone, laughing.  And then we send each other pages. And we crack up.”

One Direction fans FREAKED OUT over a letter that Joey Fatone from ‘N SYNC supposedly wrote to 1D, saying that everyone in the group other than Harry Styles was, quote, “[effed].” But it wasn’t real. It was a JOKE written on a comedy site similar to “The Onion“.

Annnnnd if we know anything about 1D fans, it’s that they will start a sh** storm over anything that mentions the band in a bad light. (you know that’s true, lol)

But here’s the deal…the article is FAKE, and was posted on a satirical news site. It doesn’t confirm that it’s a joke, but the site does label itself a comedy website, and the “letter” is credited to a woman named Joanna. So CALM DOWN 1D fans!

One part says, quote, “The rest of you are [effed]. I mean [effed]. I’m the second most-successful former member of ‘N Sync and I’m Joey Fatone. Say that out-loud to yourself: ‘Besides Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone is the most successful member of NSync.'”

HAHA! Read the whole letter HERE

So far for the 21st Season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ we have Bindi Irwin, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, and Triple Crown-winning jockey Victor Espinoza.

While the rest of the celebs are slowly being announced on Good Morning America  this week, keep in mind not everyone they ask says yes to the show, and E! has a list of celebs who have said no…

Paula Deen isn’t the first celebrity to turn down “Dancing,’ the list also includes Demi Moore, Caitlyn Jenner, Mark Zuckerberg, Lindsay Lohan, Tim Allen, Jodie Sweetin from “Full House,” Tiffani Thiessen, Martha Stewart, Geraldo Rivera, Gayle King and a few more.

Check out the full list HERE.

Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas” has been a favorite of ours for 25 years, and now she’s turning it into a picture book for kids!

The book features all the lyrics from the song, and it tells the story of a little girl whose greatest holiday wish is for a new puppy.

The book hits the shelves of warehouses everywhere on November 10th.
