Dancing With the Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd has been forced to pull out of Season 21 due to an ankle injury, after doctors told her she has four torn ligaments and a floating piece of bone at the back of her joint. Ouch!
She was also told she’s gotta have surgery if she doesn’t want to put her future dancing career in jeopardy.
According to her Twitter page, Peta shared this message, “The past three days have been really tough to say the least. I learned that my ankle injury is at a stage that needs surgery immediately. I’m so sorry but I have to step out of Season 21 of DWTS. This is obviously one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made and I seriously struggled with the idea of not being able to dance, but I know my health does come first, and the sooner I get this done, the sooner I can be back in the ballroom for all of you!”
Now this means her partner Andy Grammer, who had specifically asked to dance with her, must find another partner.
We will see who Andy’s new partner will be when the show premieres September 14th on ABC.

Kerman High School is in central California, outside Fresno and they invited Tom Hanks to show up at their homecoming dance!
Kerman is a small community of about 14,000 people, and apparently homecoming is a HUGE deal for the whole area. And their theme this year is “Tom Hanks Movies.”
The school’s assistant principal says, quote, “Our pie in the sky dream would be for him to come be our Grand Marshal, but even a personal shout out on social media or a 15-second video would be great.”
So the kids at the school started a social media campaign to get him to come, with the hashtag #TomHanks2KermanHC and it actually got Tom’s attention, check it out!
