Lauren’s Lowdown: Justin Bieber Explains Emotional VMA Performance; Chad Kroeger/Avril Lavigne Split

Last night Justin Bieber was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and he told him why he started crying at the end of his MTV VMA performance.

The Biebs said the emotions came as the result of “wanting things to go right so badly, and then managing to mess up a couple of moments of his performance.”

In case you didn’t see the last awards show Justin performed at, he got booed the second he hit the stage.

Justin said, “It was just so overwhelming for me. Everything, the performance, I missed some cues so I was a little disappointed with that. And everyone — the support — I was honestly wasn’t expecting them to support me in the way they did.”

Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne have separated after two years of marriage. She broke the news yesterday on Instagram.

Kroeger, 40, and Lavigne, 30, got engaged back in August 2012 and got married in July 2013.

Rachel Dolezal is pregnant. She’s having a boy, but there’s no word who the father is.

Dolezal was the head of the NAACP in Spokane, Washington until it was revealed that she’s actual WHITE, and had been PRETENDING to be black.  She wasn’t fired, though.  She stepped down, and the NAACP has said that it supports her.

Rachel already has two kids, ages 13 and 10.  She was married from 2000 to 2004.  Then she got engaged to another man, but they broke it off in 2013.
