It’s that magical time of year….where I feel obligated to put up Christmas lights on the house, because everyone else on my block is doing it too. As you can see above, this was my big accomplishment this year. And my wife did it. But I get credit by proxy, right?
Not exactly going to win any awards, right? It’s not that I don’t care! I love a finely decorated home around the holidays, I normally just end up procrastinating for too long, and then punt on decorating outside since “there’s just not enough time to appreciate them anyhow.” Well if you’re looking for some GOOD ways to get some good cheer flowing in short order, here’s some of the quick links to help solve the great lighting dilemma you may be facing.
How about Christmas light PROJECTORS?! Don’t actually need to hang anything on your house (or risk paralysis climbing a ladder). Home Depot has a ton of them, some of which you can control from your smart phone. Find em HERE
DIY Network also has a ton of tips on ways to hang your traditional lights if you must. Find those HERE.
And, finally, Better Home had a few really helpful thoughts too (like; don’t go crazy to start). Find their insight HERE.
Good luck with your decorating. And try not to electrocute yourself. We need all the listeners we have.
