Obsessive online shopper? Maybe I am. But I’m also obsessive about saving money. I find the products, items or clothing I need or want online then I price compare across multiple sites. When I decide which site I want to but the item on I go to Ebates first and connect to the site through there so I can get cash back on my purchase. Then I go to Raise.com and purchase a gift card for that store at a discounted price. But before I make my purchase I go to http://www.Retailmenot.com and also search for coupon codes for that store. It’s all really easy. Here’s what you need to do….
Step 1: sign up for Ebates here: www.Ebates.com. It’s free and they literally give you cash back on purchases through their site. After you shop through ebates and spend $25 online, you’ll get a free $10 gift card to either Target, Walmart, Kohl’s or Macy’s to name a few.
Step 2: Sign up for a Raise account to get discounts on gift cards. You can sign up here www.Raise.com. After you sign up, download the Raise app on your phone. That’s where I use it most. When I’m in line to checkout at TJ Maxx, I pull up the Raise app and purchase a gift card for the amount I’m going to spend and typically pay 15% less. For example, if you’ve got $100 worth of items in your cart, you can typically pick up a $100 gift card for $85 and the card will show up in your “raise wallet” in minutes, if not seconds. Just show the gift card code to the cashier. Discounts vary all the time depending on availability.
Step 3: go to http://www.RetailMeNot.com and search for coupon codes for the online store you’re shopping at. There will typically be a space in the checkout process that asks for a “promo code” or “coupon code”. Enter the code in that space and make sure to try multiple codes if they’re available. You may be able to stack coupons. I know that Victoria’s Secret allows stacking free gift codes with other discounts, at times. I could go on and on about how to save money, but I’ll leave it at this for now. If you have any questions feel free to message me on twitter @Justkramer or facebook.com/DKonair
