One Direction’s “Extended Hiatus” Will Be Permanent

After One Direction announced an extended break to “literally taking time out to see our friends and see our family, and reflect on what we’ve done over the last few years,” more news comes today that the guys are not planning on getting back together.

I’m pretty sure it things all started going downhill after Zayn Malik left the group back in March, then came the “extended hiatus,” and now sources say the band has decided to “not to renew their recording contract.”

US Weekly‘s source added, “The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.
