This week’s WOW is Grÿphus Cabernet.
This dry, medium bodied wine offers immediate notes of dried black cherry, eucalyptus and cedar. Plum pops up first, which gives way to the cherry that stays until the end. The tannins are balanced and there is a light bit of acidity. Lush and smooth with a long, savory finish. A great value, and a super match for anything hot and sizzling off the grill for those upcoming football parties!
Don’t forget to check out the Cheese of the Week, Ile de France Brie.
Below a downy white rind, Ile de France Brie offers a deliciously creamy texture and hazelnut aftertaste for a true French flair. It makes a fresh baguette extraordinary and also serves as a party staple, served with fresh fruits, nuts or pistachios.
