This week’s ‘Wine Of The Week‘ is the Llano Signature White!
Sauvignon Blanc takes the lead in this easy-sipping Texas white blend, followed by Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Aromas of apple blossom and citrus zest permeate from the glass, while the residual sugar balances the crisp acidity, allowing it to pair well with an assortment of appetizers and spicy dishes or excellent on its own.
Sounds delicious, and perfect for the Spring time!
And while you’re at Spec’s make sure to also check out the cheese of the month, which for March is the Kerrygold Imported Dubliner.
Dubliner is a robust aged cows’ milk cheese with a distinctive rounded flavor and a natural hint of sweetness. Aged for 12 months, it has elements of a mature cheddar with a somewhat crumbly texture, the sweet nutty tones of a Swiss and piquant bite of aged Parmesan. This is a cheese that melts beautifully, so useful in casseroles, but is also delicious on sandwiches or served as a table cheese. Pairs wonderfully with Merlot and Chardonnay or an Irish Stout. 7oz
