1.) Easter is the second-biggest “candy holiday” of the year. Obviously Halloween is first, but Easter is right behind it.
2.) 87% of parents will buy or make an Easter basket for their kids. That’s sweet and all, but 81% of parents will STEAL candy from their kids’ baskets! (in my best Stephanie Tanner ‘Full House’ voice: HOW RUDE! lol)
3.) 89% of people think the right way to eat a chocolate bunny is ears first. 5% like to eat the feet first, and 4% start with the tail.
4.) More than 1.5 BILLION Peeps are consumed each year. (holy cow!) There are 35 different flavors of Peeps available each Easter season.
5.) Peeps take only 6 seconds to make today. However, they originally took 27 hours to hand make when they first debuted in 1953.
