If you are doing the whole gluten free thing because you think it’s a fad diet, then shame on you. But if you’re like me and suffer from either gluten intolerance or celiac disease, then you’re well aware of the struggle when dining out in the fast food world.
Salads it is. Most of the time.
Gluten free options in today’s world are so much better than they were fifteen years ago when I first had to go ‘GF’ for medical reasons. But the one struggle you seem to face is your favorite burger joint offering a gluten free bun. (Props to sit down restaurants that do, like Red Robin and Claim Jumpers)
But when dining at every southerners favorite place, Chick-Fil-A, your options are scarce. Until now perhaps?
Just in from the website Brand Eating , Chcik-Fil-A plans to test out a gluten free bun in select markets for their ‘grilled’ chicken sandwich. Though Houston is not on the list yet, if things go well in other cities, it just might go nation wide!
However this doesn’t help us with ever so delicious and popular ‘Chick-Fil-A sandwich’ which comes with a breaded chicken breast. Or even their chicken nuggets. But hey, it’s a start!
