Doris Roberts, who most of us knew her as Ray Romano‘s nagging mother Marie Barone on ‘Everybody Loves Raymond,’ passed away at the age of 90.

Roberts, who won Emmys for best supporting actress in the tv comedy died Sunday night in her sleep of natural causes in Los Angeles, her rep Janet Daily said.

She was in every one of the show’s 9 seasons, or 210 episodes.

Patrica Heaton, who played her daughter-in-law Debra on the show, posted this on Twitter:

Ray Romano also said in a statement, “Doris Roberts had an energy and a spirit that amazed me. She never stopped. Whether working professionally or with her many charities, or just nurturing and mentoring a green young comic trying to make it as an actor, she did everything with such a grand love for life and people.”

RIP Doris, you will be missed 😦
