J.J. Watt Randomly Showed Up At Houston Basketball Courts To Show Off His B-Ball Skills

J.J. Watt is sure enjoying the off season right now.

Though he’s still recovering from his groin injury, he has to remain active. Whether it’s playing softball in his charity game or hosting the CMT Music Awards, he’s making his rounds before heading back to the turf this fall.

One of his off season activities involved hitting up random basketball courts in the Houston area and taking on anyone will to play him. Just like his ability to do damage with any carrying a football on the field, he did the same on the courts as well!

Some quotes about Watt’s basketball game comes from the Houston Chronicle:

“He just walked up with a ball like anyone else,” said the 17-year-old Cormier, Jr., who is going to be a senior at Westfield High School. “We were all like, ‘Is that really J.J. Watt?’ Then, we just started playing.”

“J.J. was the No. 1 pick, for sure. There was a little bit of trash talking, but not too much, because he’s J.J. Watt,” Cormier Jr., said. “Some people were scared to guard him though, because he’s so big.”
