Tom Hanks is one of those actors you can just tell is a nice guy. You get a feeling from some actors/actresses in their movies that outside of the character they’re playing, you just know they’re good people.
Tom Hanks proves this theory right. A couple was posing for pictures on their wedding day in Central Park when he stopped to congratulate them and take a couple of selfies with the newlyweds.
Their faces lit up as Hanks who appears to have been on a jog stops to chat with them. While he couldn’t crash the wedding (he had a dinner event that evening) he did let them know he’s an ordained minister in case anyone cancels!
Yesterday's wedding was so beautiful! Elisabeth and Ryan you planned one amazing celebration. The icing on the cake was @tomhanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations. #megmillerphotography #newyork #nyc #nyminute #celebrity #brideandgroom #tomhanks #weddingdress #wedding #weddingday #blacktie #centralpark #blackandwhite #huffpostido #stylemepretty #weddinginspiration #selfie #celebritysighting
This isn’t the first time he does something sweet for his fans, last year (right around this time actually!) he came across the ID card of a student at Fordham University and tweeted out a photo of it to get it back to her.
