She's encouraging women (and men) to vote for Hillary Clinton.

By Hayden Wright

Lady Gaga has made no secret of her support for Hillary Clinton, and in the final days of this long, dark election cycle, she’s reminding her fans what’s at stake on Tuesday. Gaga tweeted a YouTube video compiling of “nasty women” (or, to put it another way, strong women) throughout history, echoing Donald Trump’s dismissive jibe at Clinton durinnmg the final presidential debate. The video chronicles American women with a penchant for progress and controversy.

The video features clips of Gloria Steinem, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Rosa Parks, Jane Fonda, Elizabeth Warren, Michelle Obama, female veterans and more. It’s set to the little-remembered Destiny’s Child single “Nasty Girl,” a departure from all the Janet Jackson references immediately post-debate.

Gaga captioned the tweet: “Strong women have been called Witches & Bitches for centuries. In 2016 they’re called nasty. #GetNasty #VoteHillary”
