December 3, 2018

**Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans extend their franchise-record winning streak to nine games with a 29-13 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

The Texans (9-3), who opened the season 0-3, haven't lost since Sept. 23 to take a commanding lead atop the AFC South.

**NICK JONAS and PRIYANKA CHOPRA got married in India this weekend.  Twice.  On Saturday they had a Christian service officiated by Nick's dad, Kevin Sr.  Sunday was the traditional Hindu ceremony.

There aren't many details or photos from either ceremony, but both were preceded by a Sangeet . . . a Hindu tradition that's basically a family vs. family DANCE OFF.

Priyanka posted a video of it on Instagram, and said, quote, "It all began as a fierce song and dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love . . .

"And what a performance it was.  Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love."

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends...#grateful @nickjonas --/--: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik

**Former President GEORGE H.W. BUSH passed away last Friday at his home here in Houston, surrounded by family and friends. He was 94.

He'd been dealing with several health problems, including a form of Parkinson's.

His son GEORGE W. BUSH wasn't there, but the two spoke on the phone. In fact, Dad's last words were to his son.  He told him, quote, "I love you, too."

In his last hours, Bush was asked if he wanted to go to the hospital, but he said he was ready to be with his wife BARBARA, who died this past April.

President Bush will lie in state at the U.S. Capitol before a memorial service at the National Cathedral in Washington.  There will be a second memorial in Houston, and he will be laid to rest alongside Barbara at his presidential library in College Station, Texas.

**Mayor Sylvester Turner announced the public memorial tribute to President George H.W. Bush set to take place tonight at 7 p.m. on Hermann Square in front of City Hall.

The mistresses of ceremonies will be former news anchors, Linda Lorelle and Shara Fryer. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Houston Symphony, gospel singer Yolanda Adams, country music stars Clay Walker, and more.

Attendees are urged to wear their own colorful socks in tribute to Bush 41.

More details from ABC 13

**ARIANA GRANDE's "Thank U, Next" video hit YouTube on Friday, and went on to amass 47 million views in its first 24 hours.  That breaks the record of 45 million set by "Idol", by the Korean boy band BTS.

It also broke the record for simultaneous views . . . with 829,000 people watching it at the same time.

**A couple was walking through Times Square in New York on Friday when the guy got down on one knee to propose.  But . . . he fumbled the ring and it fell down a sewer grate.

They asked the cops for help finding the ring, but they couldn't spot it, so the couple left.  Then the next day, the cops went back in and managed to find the ring deep down in some mud . . . but they didn't have the couple's info.

So they went to social media and tweeted a video of the botched proposal . . . and it worked.

Some people helped them identify the couple, and they got the ring back to them yesterday.  And they even cleaned it first.

**Aren’t cereals supposed to be a delicious healthy alternative to eating eggs and bacon  for breakfast? In the past year we've already seen things like Chips Ahoy, Nutter Butter, Sour Patch Kids, and Dippin' Dots turned into cereals.

And in case you didn't know: THESE ARE NOT HEALTHY.

Now, Hostess and Post announced two new dessert-to-breakfast conversions:  Honey Bun cereal . . . and powdered donut cereal.  Both of them will hit stores next month.

**There wasn't much new competition for "Ralph Breaks the Internet" at the box office this weekend, so its $25.8 million was enough for a second straight #1 finish.

The only new movie to crack the Top 10 was "The Possession of Hannah Grace".  It made $6.5 million, and came in seventh. Here's the top 5:

1.  "Ralph Breaks the Internet", $25.8 million.

2.  "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch", $17.7 million.

3.  "Creed II", $16.8 million.

4.  "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald", $11.2 million.

5.  "Bohemian Rhapsody", $8.1 million.

**TAYLOR SWIFT brings in massive crowds when she’s on the road. She recently wrapped her Reputation Tour, and the numbers are staggering.

In fact, "Billboard" says it's the highest-grossing U.S. tour of ALL TIME . . . or at least since they began tracking touring data in 1990.  The tour grossed $266.1 million and sold 2,068,399 tickets.

She beat THE ROLLING STONES, who made $245 million from their 'A Bigger Bang Tour' from 2005 to 2007. The Stones set their record with 70 U.S. shows, but Taylor surpassed them with just 38 shows.

**According to a new study, you could be losing up to six ENTIRE days every year just by hitting the snooze button.

The study found that around 36% of people hit the snooze button an average of four times every morning, and each of those snoozes is nine minutes.

So when you add that up over the standard working year of 48 weeks, it comes out to six whole days.
